Welcome to the 'Online Classifieds' section of SellMyStuff.info where we try to give you a few tips and pointers for disposing of your unwanted items in Online Classified Ads.

There are a host of online classified sites on the internet today, including gumtree.com and vivastreet.co.uk. In the multimedia age classifieds sites are sometimes the web version of a physical print publication (see the 'Newspaper Ads' page). Others are recent arrivals, operating exclusively online.

Some have become phenomena in their own right, a prime example being CraigsList.org which has grown well beyond San Francisco related lists and ads into a social network for many of its users.

Many 'Specialist Sites' such as regional information sites, online owners and users groups and hobby portals also offer small ads for the private seller and may be more appropriate for certain items.
